Description
The person will be responsible for design development of automation tools. He / She will work very closely with our German colleagues to make sure the automation tools meet all the technical specifications and commercial needs. The main focus will be create layouts, standard product platforms and from conceptual ideas.
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
• Automation product design and development.
• Automation product management (cost control and personnel management).
• Guide/define the mechanical system architecture for new products and product platforms.
• Coordinate resources to meet targets.
• Contribute individually to the creation of smart design solutions from concept till manufacturing.
• Define installation and assembly schedules.
• Transfer German product to Taiwan.
CAPABILITIES
• Extensive CAD design experience. Solid Edge preferred.
• Effective communication skills (listening, speaking, writing) in Chinese and English.
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
• A team player with the ability to work independently.
• Highly motivated and eager to constantly expand technical and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel and work with different cultures.
• Cooperate closely with leadership and other departments.
• Experience with product development more than 2 years.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A) EDUCATION REQUIRED:
University or Master degree in mechanical engineering.
B) EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum 5 years industry experiences in solar, LED, semiconductor, display or related industries.
C) EXPERIENCE NICE TO HAVE/BENEFITIAL
Knowledge about robotics, vacuum technology, thin film deposition, laser processing tools.
